Currently we are looking for a qualified Bulk Laboratory Analyst to deliver a fully compliant laboratory service for our in-house team and external clients with a view to moving into a managerial role within the Lab.
Reporting into the Quality Manager, you will be required to work collaboratively across the business and your key responsibilities will include bulk sample analysis for asbestos and reporting within analytical targets in line with ISO 17025 accreditation. You will be responsible for ensuring the laboratory is compliant with all UKAS requirements and quality standards and managing and maintaining all laboratory equipment including calibration of onsite equipment, ordering consumables and arranging waste removal.
What we are looking for from you
With a relevant science qualification(s) (minimum A’ Level and / or Science degree), at least 1 years experience of working within a UKAS accredited Laboratory and a certified BOHS P401 Asbestos Laboratory Analyst you will have a good knowledge of all aspects of the bulk lab from sample chain of custody through to QC checking of reports prior to issue. In addition you will have a good working knowledge of COSHH and the handling and storage of Cargille liquids.
With good Microsoft Office skills you will also possess excellent attention to detail skills, have the ability to build good working relationships and communicate (both written and verbally) well at all levels as well as the ability to manage and organise your own workload effectively.

We’re also after competent and qualified Fire Consultants to meet the demands of a growing team within our Fire Compliance division.
You must have solid experience and detailed knowledge of FRAs, Fire Door Surveys and Fire Compartmentation Surveys. All levels of qualification will be considered as we are committed to ongoing training, development and support for our workforce.
